Has web onboarding + browser checkout lifted your pricing-page submits?

I pushed our pricing screen to the web and then deep link back into the app after purchase. Two things made the biggest difference for me:

  • I could strip the page down to one decision (plan) and prefill email from the lead step.
  • I could ship tiny tweaks daily—copy, anchors, default plan, coupon logic—without a release.

Checkout felt smoother because I controlled the sequence: quiz → plan → pay. I also tested wallets vs card, and hiding trial terms behind a tooltip killed trust, so we reversed that and saw more completes.

If you did this, which parts actually moved submit rates: wallets, shorter forms, or just clearer pricing?

Three things helped me:

Biggest wins usually come from friction removal and trust. Reduce fields to email plus payment. Put the guarantee and trial terms directly above the button. Default to the plan you want, but leave the other option visible. Wallets help on mobile, but only if your form is already tight. I track submit rate and pay success separately to isolate form issues from payment issues. Aim for clean sequencing and strong defaults.

Wallets helped a little, but copy changes mattered more.
