Need recommendations for a split testing tool that non-technical teams can use

Our marketing team wants to start A/B testing landing pages and campaigns but most tools seem built for developers.

Looking for something where they can set up tests without needing to write code or bug engineering constantly.

What have you used that actually works for non-tech teams?

Unbounce has a decent testing feature built in. We use it for quick page tests.

Try Google Optimize. It’s easy and doesn’t need code.

Optimizely has a visual editor that makes testing straightforward for marketing teams. You can change text, images, and buttons without any code.

The interface is clean and they have good support docs. Pricing might be higher than other options but it saves time when your team can run tests independently.

VWO works well for marketing teams that don’t code. The visual editor lets you click and edit elements directly on your page. You can change headlines, swap images, or move buttons around just by selecting them. I’ve seen teams get their first test running in under 30 minutes. The reporting is simple to read and they handle the traffic split automatically. Skip the enterprise features at first. Just use the basic editor to test one element at a time.

I’ve run dozens of tests using different platforms and honestly Google Optimize gets the job done for most marketing teams. The visual editor is straightforward and you can test copy, buttons, images without touching code.

The statistical significance reporting is automatic so your team won’t second guess results. Plus it integrates directly with Analytics if you’re already using that.

Only downside is Google is shutting it down next year, but it’s still solid for getting your team comfortable with testing before moving to a paid tool.

This walkthrough covers the basics pretty well:

Once your team gets the hang of it you can always upgrade to something like VWO later.
