We got rejected by Apple because our paywall copy was "misleading." Has anyone successfully fought one of these? Their rules feel so arbitrary.

Our app got hit with a rejection from Apple for the paywall being labeled as misleading. We just said “unlock premium features” and thought it was clear.

Has anyone managed to overturn a decision like this? Their guidelines seem really inconsistent.

Apple rejected my app for “misleading” copy - had a 3-day trial that auto-converted and they said users wouldn’t understand they’d get charged.

Made the copy way more explicit about billing, resubmitted with a note about the changes. Approved second time around.

Their feedback’s always vague but there’s usually something specific they want. Make your paywall copy super detailed about what users get and exactly when they’ll be charged. Works every time.

Fighting rejections is tough. Usually easier to just fix the copy and resubmit.
