We got tired of waiting on app reviews to try new offers, so we moved onboarding and paywall to a web funnel. Now we’re shipping copy tweaks daily and pricing tests weekly. Trials, upfront plans, bundles, and free plan messaging cycle through faster than we can write changelogs.
To stay honest, we gate traffic with feature flags, set a fixed sample size per variant, and don’t peek early. For big pricing moves, we run sequential tests with guardrails on gross revenue and refund rate. We also roll changes back instantly if support tickets spike.
This cadence feels great, but I worry about seasonality and ad mix shifting under us. We saw one “winner” turn into a dud two weeks later when creative changed.
If you’ve been running a web testing rhythm for a while, what cadence and guardrails keep your data clean? How do you avoid chasing noise when traffic sources and audience quality drift week to week?
