I’ve been using Google Data Studio, but it feels limited.
Curious what others are using for more robust analytics dashboards.
Looking for something that can handle multiple data sources and create more customized visualizations.

I’ve been using Tableau for a while now. It’s solid for handling multiple data sources and lets you build some really detailed custom visuals.
The learning curve is a bit steep, but once you get the hang of it, you can create pretty much any report you need.
One thing I like is how easy it makes spotting trends across different campaigns. Really helps when you’re trying to figure out what’s working and what’s not.
It’s not cheap, but for the flexibility it gives, I’ve found it worth the investment. Especially if you’re juggling data from various channels and need to see the big picture quickly.
I use Amplitude for most of my reporting. It’s built for apps and handles multiple data sources well.
The visualizations are customizable and easy to set up. You can track user flows, retention, and revenue all in one place.
Best part is it ties data directly to user behavior, so you can see what actions lead to conversions. Makes optimizing campaigns much easier.
Forget fancy tools. Focus on what matters.
I’ve seen too many people waste time with complex dashboards that don’t drive action.
Start simple. Google Analytics + Google Sheets can handle most needs.
Build custom reports that track your core KPIs: acquisition cost, retention, revenue per user.
Once you outgrow that, look at Amplitude or Mixpanel. They’re built for mobile apps and have solid visualization options.
Key is tying data to decisions. Pick 3-5 metrics that actually impact growth. Track those religiously. Ignore the rest.
Excel and Sheets work fine. Keep it simple. Fancy tools distract from real insights.
Looker’s pretty good. Can connect lots of data sources and make custom charts. Bit pricey though.
