What's the future look like? Do you think AI will eventually build and optimize funnels with almost no human input? Scary or exciting?

I’ve been reflecting on this topic after discovering some new AI tools.

We currently use automation for A/B tests and targeting, but imagine AI constructing entire funnels automatically.

It could really help smaller teams, but it also makes me anxious about job security.

Used an AI tool for our dating app funnel campaigns. It got the structure and flow right, but conversions sucked until we rewrote all the headlines and CTAs.

The AI mapped user paths perfectly but completely missed the emotional hooks that actually get people to download. Technically solid funnels that just felt dead.

I’m thinking we’re moving toward AI handling the framework while we focus on psychology and messaging. Makes sense - let AI do the boring setup so we can work on what actually converts.

AI is improving quickly. We will still need people involved. Roles might change but jobs won’t go away.

AI takes care of the technical setup and data analysis, but you still have to understand what drives users to buy your app.

I leverage AI to test many more variations than I could manage before. It does not take the place of strategy. It can generate ten different funnel structures while I craft the copy that resonates with users.

The challenge now is knowing which AI outputs to keep and how to enhance them.

AI can set up the basics of a funnel, but it lacks the understanding of what drives real conversions. It can generate solid layouts, yet it doesn’t capture the psychological elements or copy nuances that enhance effectiveness. Knowing your audience is crucial for making impactful changes. While AI can automate many tasks, it cannot substitute the value of engaging directly with users to understand their motivations.

Generic funnels do not work. You need a personal touch.

Scary and exciting at the same time. I’m already using AI to pump out funnel variations in minutes instead of hours. The speed is crazy.

Full automation though? That’s where platforms like Web2Wave matter. AI builds the base funnel, but I need to deploy it instantly to see if it converts. The faster I can test AI outputs, the more valuable I stay.

Already happening.

I’ve used AI tools that build complete funnel flows just from a product description. The output’s surprisingly solid for basic structures.

But someone still needs to know what converts, tweak messaging, and hook it up to your business logic.

AI does the grunt work. You handle strategy and optimization. As a solo founder, that’s exciting.
