The funnel visualization in our analytics is frustrating. It’s slow and unhelpful, making it hard to see the real insights.
I’m curious about what tools you all prefer for better analysis and improving conversion rates.

Figma works great for clear funnels
Amplitude crushes GA4 and Mixpanel when it comes to conversion analysis. The pathfinder feature shows you which user paths actually convert, not just where people drop off. I’ve discovered conversion routes I never knew existed that boosted signup rates by 40%. People don’t always follow your expected funnel, but they’ll still convert through weird paths you wouldn’t think of. Yeah, it costs more than GA4, but you’ll make that money back fast once you start optimizing based on how users actually behave.
Look into Hotjar. It offers good visualizations and heatmaps for understanding user flows better.
Mixpanel destroys everything else for mobile funnel tracking. Switched after GA4’s in-app event tracking drove me nuts.
Flow visualization shows exactly where users bail, and you can segment by campaign source or user properties instantly. Game-changer when testing different ad creatives.
I still use GA4 for basic web funnels since it’s free. But if you’re serious about user behavior and have budget, Mixpanel’s worth every penny.
Set up your events right from day one though. I rushed the initial setup and had to rebuild tracking twice - don’t be me.
GA4 works well for funnel tracking. You can set up custom events to track each step clearly. It requires some initial setup, but once it’s done, it runs smoothly. No need for extra tools.
