Been looking at alternatives to Apple’s payment system for our iOS app but honestly getting paranoid about App Store rejections.
Anyone actually using third-party payment tools without getting flagged? What’s working right now?

Square works for services and physical goods. Been using it for 3 years across multiple apps without problems. The key is what triggers the payment. If users can buy digital features or content that works inside your app, you need Apple’s system. If they’re paying for something that exists outside the app or gets delivered separately, third-party is fine. Test your flow carefully before launch. Apple reviews the entire purchase process.
Use Apple Pay. Avoid rejection issues.
Depends what you’re selling through the app.
I’ve used Stripe for two different apps. One was selling physical products (worked fine for 2+ years) and another tried processing in-app feature upgrades (got rejected during review).
Apple’s pretty clear about digital goods needing their payment system. But if you’re doing subscriptions to external services or physical items, third-party processors usually pass review.
Just make sure the payment flow happens outside the app interface if you’re in a gray area. Opens Safari, completes there, then returns to app.
Third-party payments can work well if you stick to the rules. I use them for physical goods and services outside the app without issues. Just ensure you are not selling digital content or features within the app. Apple wants those transactions to go through their system.
PayPal works if your stuff ships outside the app. Rejected once for trying digital features though.
